2011 January Newsletter

Dear Painters,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season and is looking forward to paint in the new year.

Please join me in welcoming Eileen Barnard as our new Vice President. She is very talented and I know that she will do a great job.

I want to thank each of the Board Members for their hard work this past year and I also want to thank all of the Members for participating in the paint-ins and seminars. Without you we would not be a Chapter.

2011 is starting off great with the Heidi England Seminar. We are doing a “Gossip Bench”. It is a very unique project. Heidi is great to paint with and just a delight to be around. If you want to attend and have not signed up yet you will need to do so ASAP as we need to order the wood. Seminar date January 27th  thru 29th.

The Christmas Party at Maddox was great. Good food, raffles and fun just being together. We had two looser raffles. One was a “Harvest Bowl” and Pattern” won by myself and the other was a free day to the Heidi England Seminar won by Lydia Gosset. The ornament exchange was especially nice this year. LeAnn Gosset made a wonderful Cheese Cake for desert.

We missed each of you that was unable to attend and hope you can join us next year.

Happy New Year and I hope to see you at the Heidi England Seminar.

Nancy
