2020 October Newsletter
I can't believe that another month has passed and we have not gotten together, I miss you all tremendously, I hope all of this ends shortly and we are meeting once again! Keep your spirits up.
Thank you for all of the pictures that have been sent. Seeing what others ate doing is one of the lights in the darkness.
Until we can paint again, keep your chin up and stay sane!!!

I know many of you have done little or no painting for any number of reasons, but we would like to hear from you. So drop me a email or text to let us know how you and yours are doing and we will post it next month. It's not the same as being together, but it will help keep us closer.

Hope all is good with you in these times. Have been doing Zoom classes with my local SDP Chapters to stay sane – ha! The ‘new’ normal for now.
First photo is a design by Lori Larkey using her ‘dry’ brush technique – it was an interesting & fun process. The train was something I did for fun for Christmas the design is by Lisbeth Stull.

Hi,
I haven't done any painting since the second week in June. I fell and
fractured my left hand, had to wear a cast. Then it must have the
triggered kidney stones I didn't know I had. Oh what a painful ordeal
(worse then 2020). I had to have laser lithotripsy to pulverize the
big one (two times). No fun! Finally starting to feel better. Maybe
one day we'll get together and paint again, I hope it's soon.

Before all of the fun I did get the bird house gourd by Julie Grant and Cindy Pray ready for class. I also had fun making a pink pig out of terracotta pots of various sizes. It's cute to put in a flower bed or whatever.
