2011 May Newsletter

Dear Painters:

There are so many exciting things coming up.

Next month we have Tirzah teaching the "Hungarian Cockerel" on a tin pie plate. It is the second in a set. Be sure to get signed up if you have not already done so.

In June Glenna Neilson will be teaching a "Uncle Sam on a Bee" for the 4th of July.

Our July Summer Social will be held in Tirzah Probasco’s back yard. It should be great fun to renew old friendships.

We are taking sign ups for the September Seminar. Bill Bayer will be teaching an oil painting. It promises to be a very excising Seminar. He provides everything you will need except for the brushes. He has brushes you can purchase for approximately $20.00 per set. He also has a few loaner sets. All you have to do is come and paint, no prep required. Please get your $100.00 deposit in as soon as you can. This Seminar will fill up fast.

I was the lucky winner of the April Raffle. Thanks Eileen Barnard, I love it.

See you at the next pain-in.

Nancy

Bill “Ridley” Bayer began painting as a hobby in 1988. The following year he studied with Bob Ross and became a certified instructor of Bob’s wet on wet technique. He has since studied with many other well know artists developing his own style of painting. Bill has published five instructional books and three DVD's titled "Down Roads... Less Traveled" showcasing his talents. Bill uses his middle name “Ridley” as his signature. Ridley was also his grandfather’s name and Bill signs his paintings in “Paps” honor.
