2014 April Newsletter
THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH
" You hold the key to your success. It's hitting the delete button on the idea that past failures can prevent dreams from coming true. They can't! Those missteps just point you in the right direction! Break the hold that old mistakes have on you, try again---and watch amazing things unfold!"

We have had a little of every kind of weather these last few weeks, but I believe that Spring is on it's way. Some of the trees in the orchards are in full bloom. I hope they do not freeze.

Thanks to all of you that supported me for my paint-in. We had a lot of fun, a great lunch and visit, and also a fun raffle. We missed those of you who didn't make it.

We also had a surprise visit from one of our past president's, Rebecca Chaffee. We have missed Becky and it was great to see her. We appreciate her taking the time to visit with all of us. As you know, Becky has some health problems and it was wonderful to see her up and around. Thank you, Becky, and the best to you. See you again, sooooooon!

The cabinets are ready for the April Seminar. If you have paid for seminar IN FULL, you may pick it up, along with the pattern, after April 3rd. Please call Tirzah at 801-825-2660 to make arrangements for pick up.

May's paint-in is a beautiful Russian Floral Box to be taught by June Skollingsberg. Has everyone signed up? Be sure to let us know, on the sign up sheet, if you want the Chapter to order you a box.

Happy Easter! Hope to see you soon and myt God bless you all.

Gloria

2014 Paint-ins
The Board would like some input from the Chapter members about next year's Paint-ins and fall Seminar. What kind and style of projects would you like to paint? Who would you like as teachers? Would you willing to teach a class and if so, what would you teach? Please give this some serious thought. We are here for You. Contact any of the Board members with your ideas.

2014 Chapter Service Project
This year again, the Chapter will be continuing the Food Drive as our Community Service Project. Last year was very successful and we hope to do even better this year. Members are urged to bring items for the Food Bank to each Paint-in and Seminar they attend. (See our Food Bank Donations Guideline page for information on acceptable items or go the the Utah Food Bank web site for more information.) There is a lot of need, so we hope everyone will support this effort.
