2014 December Newsletter

THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH
You're so much more than good enough! At some point everyone fears they'll fall short of someone's expectations--but you'll exceed them! Everyone doubts whether they have what it takes--but you do! Everyone worries that they won't measure up. But, you always do--just by being you.

Hi Painters,

NOTICE YO MEMBERS!!! On the Thought of the Month note, I would like to ask each and every one of our members to volunteer to teach a class or run for an office in our Chapter this year. We need each and everyone to participate in order to keep our Chapter strong and growing. Thanks and we'll look forward to hearing from all of you during the coming year.

Please be sure and check out our blog for the projects we have scheduled so far for this year.

Don't forget to sign up for the Christmas Party which will be at Ruby River on Saturday, December 13th at 1:00 p.m. We need to know what you would like to eat, etc. Please let one of the Board members know or email me (gloriageldridge@yahoo.com). We'll look forward to seeing you there.

Remember, we would like to hear from all of you regarding what you'd be interested in painting this year, what class you'd like to teach and what office you would like to run for in next years elections. Heads up ladies, “WE NEED YOU”.

God Bless.

Gloria

2014 November Newsletter

THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH
Happy is something you were meant to be. For every worry that tugs at you, there is a joy that can lift you up-once you notice it. For every doubt that nags at you, there is a dream that can inspire you-if you let it. And every single day brings a new reason to smile-and a chance to smile back!

Hi Painters,

Fall is fast turning into winter and before we know it snow will be flying. Really hate to see it as I know that when we have to clear snow it is not the most fun thing in the world. Hopefully we won't get too much on the valley floor but we really need it in the mountains as our water supplies are down.

A great big THANK YOU to Betty Roberts for coming and teaching our October class, which was Peggy Harris's fish pattern. It was a very interesting class and the new method was very informative and we all learned a lot. Betty is a very good teacher and we had a lot of fun. I have been thinking about using this method on other projects to see how it would work. Also, want to thank Hazel Rimmasch for coming with her. I was great to have you both. Thanks a lot.

Also a big thanks to Wendy for bringing the delicious apples!

Thanks to all the Board Members for all their help in setting up, taking down and all the things that you help with. Really appreciate all of you and don't know what we would do without all of you. Thanks, again.

Once again I want to remind EVERYONE TO COME JOIN US, bring your unfinished pieces and Tirzah will help you to finish them. We meet at the Riverdale Senior Center on Wednesday's from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. They also serve a great lunch for $2.50. This is a wonderful place to paint and a lot of fun is had by everyone.

Everyone, please check out the blog sight for information on our November class. Hope we see you there.

God Bless.

Gloria

2014 October Newsletter

THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH:
Even the most impossible dreams come true. Today, someone will find love – the fairy tale kind, but even better, because it's real. Today, someone will hold a baby they thought they'd never have. Today, someone will get their big break. Today, someone will be healed. Miracles are a part of life. Believe!"

Hi Painters!

Well ladies, I believe summer is about over. The fruit stands are out of corn on the cob and the tomatoes are getting scarce. The apples are on now but I really hate to see the corn etc. go, but I just love fall.

Those of you who did not make it to the Peggy Harris Seminar really missed a delightful lady and a very informative two days. Everyone ended up with wonderful animals. I don't know when we have had more information and instructions available to us.

Thanks to all the Board Members for all their help in setting up, taking down and serving lunches. Don't know what we would do without all of you. Thanks, again.

I hate to keep bring this to your attention, but we invite EVERYONE TO COME JOIN US and bring your unfinished pieces and Tirzah will help you finish them. We meet at the Riverdale Senior Center on Wednesday's from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. They also serve a great lunch for $2.50. This is a wonderful place to paint and we have a lot of fun. Also, beginning October 29th, we will start working on the prep for the November Christmas Plate. Yet another good reason to join us!

Everyone please check out the rest of the blog for more information on the October and November classes. Hope to see you there.
