2012 June Newsletter

Hello Painters,

Are we ready for Summer? The weather is trying to cooperate. The roses are starting to bloom and the tulips and daffodils were just beautiful this year.

On Sunday, July 1st, we are having a Summer Social at the home of Tirzah Probasco. All members, past and present , as well as all of the participants from the April Beginners class are invited. Please contact Tirzah if you know of past member(s) so that we can extend a special invitation to them. Tirzah has a lovely pool if you would care to take a dip. Or just come and enjoy the food and old friendships. Check out the blog for more information and directions to Tirzah's home.

Please remember our 2012 Chapter Service Project. We hope everyone will support this effort to help those in need.

If you cannot join us at the Social, come and join us in one (or better yet, all) of our monthly Pant-ins. We have a wonderful list of projects.

Hope to see you all at the Social. Happy Painting!

Lydia

2012 Chapter Service Project
This year again, the Chapter will be continuing the Food Drive as our Community Service Project. Last year was very successful and we hope to do even better this year. Members are urged to bring items for the Food Bank to each Paint-in and Seminar they attend. (See our Food Bank Donations Guideline page for information on acceptable items or go the the Utah Food Bank web site for more information.) There is a lot of need, so we hope everyone will support this effort.
