2011 June Newsletter

Dear Painters:

Summer is almost here. It has been a long cold spring although the tulips and daffodils are so beautiful.

This month Tirzah Probasco is teaching a "Rooster on a pie tin" which is a great addition to the other Roosters she has taught. The pattern is by JoSonja Jansen.

In June Glenna Nielsen will be teaching "Uncle Sam on a Bee" by Pat Nelson. It is a fun piece for the 4th of July. If you have not ordered your wood you need to call Tirzah now so she can get it ordered.

Our Teacher for August will be Kristen Binkeland. Her project is to be determined.

This year we are having a Chapter Summer Social at Tirzah Probasco's house. It will be a Barbecue. All Members, past and present, are invited. We will do our best to contact our past Members. If you know of any past Members please let Tirzah or myself know so that we can extend an invitation to them. Tirzah has a lovely pool if you would care to take a dip or you can just renew old friendships. It promises to be a lot of fun.

I hope to see you all and the Paint-in and Summer Social.

Keep painting.

Nancy

Bill “Ridley” Bayer began painting as a hobby in 1988. The following year he studied with Bob Ross and became a certified instructor of Bob’s wet on wet technique. He has since studied with many other well know artists developing his own style of painting. Bill has published five instructional books and three DVD's titled "Down Roads... Less Traveled" showcasing his talents. Bill uses his middle name “Ridley” as his signature. Ridley was also his grandfather’s name and Bill signs his paintings in “Paps” honor.
