2014 August Newsletter

THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH:
"You can do anything you set your mind to! Sure, luck and connections don't hurt. But the real magic formula to getting what you want most in life is simple: a dream plus determination--and you've got both! So brush off your doubts and let positive thinking take you where you're headed: to certain success."

Hi Painters!
Glenda we want you to know that Terry did a great job with your Zentangle class. We all enjoyed it very much and we all have a beautiful hummingbird to enjoy. We'll miss you (but everytime I see my hummingbird I"ll think about you.) We all hope you'll get to come back and see us once in a while.

Also, if you haven't signed up for the fall seminar be sure and check out the blog and see what we are painting. There's a beautiful squirrel, some whimsical owls and a chic chickadee. Check the blog for more details.

Hope everyone is enjoying our wonderful summer as well as all the great fresh veggies. I know I am. Only wish the season was longer.

EVERYONE COME JOIN US, bring your unfinished pieces and Tirzah will help you to finish them. We meet at the Riverdale Senior Center on Wednesday's from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. They also serve a great lunch for $2.50

Hope we see you soon and may God bless.

Gloria

2015 Paint-ins
The Board would like some input from the Chapter members about next year's Paint-ins and fall Seminar. What kind and style of projects would you like to paint? Who would you like as teachers? Would you willing to teach a class and if so, what would you teach? Please give this some serious thought. We are here for You. Contact any of the Board members with your ideas.

2014 Chapter Service Project
We need your support for the Chapters Food Drive!!!  This is our Community Service Project for the year. Please bring items for the Food Bank to each Paint-in and Seminar they attend. (See our Food Bank Donations Guideline page for information on acceptable items or go the the Utah Food Bank web site for more information.) There is a lot of need, so we hope everyone will support this effort.
