2015 June Newsletter
Is everyone as tired of all these rainstorms we have been having as I am? Hopefully it is finally going to clear up. All the fruit trees seem to be doing well and it looks like we will have a fairly good crop in spite of all the icky weather. Thank goodness!
Remember our blog site has all the great upcoming classes listed. Be sure and check what classes you would like to attend and sign up with Pat at 801-476-9366 or Tirzah at 801-825-2660.
Hate to keep nagging at you ladies, but the Board would like to hear from you all regarding what you'd be interested in painting this coming year, what classes you'd like to teach and what office you would like to run for in next year's elections. IF WE ARE GOING TO KEEP OUR CHAPTER WORKING AND GROWING, WE NEED ALL OUR MEMBERS TO PITCH IN AND ASSIST. Thanks, ladies.
“You
can talk yourself into succeeding! That little voice inside your head
can be your ally, if you let it tell you the truth---that you can do
it, that you are worthy, that you have what it takes, that your
dreams will come true, and that no one can live them better than
you!“
Hi Painters!
We would like to thank Hazel Rimmasch for teaching the beautiful chinoiserie box which was a JoSonja pattern. Everyone's turned out beautifully and we had a lot of fun. Thanks again, Hazel and I now have a great gift for my cousin. Also, we would like to thank Tom for doing the boxes for us. Nice job Tom.Is everyone as tired of all these rainstorms we have been having as I am? Hopefully it is finally going to clear up. 2015 Chapter Service Project
This year the Chapter will be trying something different for our Community Service Project. Instead of bring food items (which we so often forget) for the Food Bank, we will have a donation box where people can drop in spare change or a dollar or two. You'd be surprised how quickly little bits can add up. There is a lot of need, so we hope everyone will support this effort.
