2010 April Newsletter

Happy April Ladies,

Our spring seminar is fast approaching. If you haven’t signed up yet, please call Tirzah to reserve your spot. To see project photos scroll down through this newsletter. As you are scrolling through the pages you will notice our other Paint-ins. The May Paint-in is a “give to others” Paint-in. We are painting Treasure Boxes and/or Memory Boxes. In June, we’ll be painting a Black & White Tulip on canvas with Donna Richards. Juanita Denton’s peacock eggs bowl follows in July.

Our “NEW” MYSTERY PAINT-IN is on the calendar for August 14, 2010. I’ll give you another hint . . . the project is smaller than a breadbox but larger than a pin cushion. And, did I mention that the Mystery Paint-In fee of $25.00 includes your surface (all prepared and ready to paint), photos, instructions, paint and lunch? Plus, our teacher is from out of state. September is our Fall Seminar with David Jansen; we will post pictures as soon as we receive them. Don’t forget the Ugly Sweater Christmas Party. Our goal for 2010 is to have fun. We’re on our way.

Hazel became ill the evening before our March Paint-in so Tirzah hurried and finished her rooster plate so she could teach the class. Thank you, Tirzah. Hazel, we hope you are feeling better.

Also, a few of our members are facing surgery in April. Best wishes to Nancy Coley, Glenda Mitchell and Wendy Ouellette for a speedy recovery.

Keep smiling, have FUN and let’s paint.
CarolAna
