2012 July Newsletter
Hello Painters,

Well its sure feels like Summer and I hope everyone is enjoying it.

Our Summer Social was held on Sunday July 1st. I'm sorry a lot of you could not attend, but I'm sure the ladies that did enjoyed the food and the company. We had a very nice time in spite of the heat. Thanks to all who attended.

Our Fall Seminar is in September and this year's teacher is Sandy Aubuchon. A very delightful lady. We are having two one-day projects. So think about joining us this Fall. See the blog for more details.

With the Fall comes the elections for new Board Officers. Please be thinking about running for one of the Board positions. It would be a shame to have to devolve the Chapter. My sister always tells me how lucky I am to have a great group to paint with. Where she lives (California Bay area) they don't have teachers or a Chapter close by.

Come join us for our monthly Paint-ins. We have some great classes coming up. See below for more details. It's not to early to plan to attend our Chapter's Christmas Party. It will be held on December 8, 2012, so mark your calendars and come and join us.

Have a safe and fun Summer.

Lydia

2012 Chapter Service Project
This year again, the Chapter will be continuing the Food Drive as our Community Service Project. Last year was very successful and we hope to do even better this year. Members are urged to bring items for the Food Bank to each Paint-in and Seminar they attend. (See our Food Bank Donations Guideline page for information on acceptable items or go the the Utah Food Bank web site for more information.) There is a lot of need, so we hope everyone will support this effort.
