2015 Seminars and Paint-ins
Hi Painters!
THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH
“Something is ready to bloom in your heart. It might be a fresh outlook or shining self-confidence. It may be a new openness to the possibilities every day brings. Or it could be a big goal or a bigger dream. Whatever it is, it will bring joy to your life. Let it blossom!“
Hope everyone is enjoying our wonderful summer as well as all the great fresh veggies.
Also hope you are having great vacations. I know I am. I just returned home from Tennessee and Kentucky where my girl friend and I did an amazing number of things and had a wonderful visit. We, Don and I, are getting ready to go to Seattle to visit his family and
will be attending his youngest sister's 70th birthday celebration.
If you haven't signed up for the fall seminar or other classes we have, be sure and check out the blog and see what we are painting. Elections for 2016 Chapter officers is coming up soon. Please give serious thought about serving. Also note the Christmas party in December and mark it on your calendar.
Everyone come join us, bring your unfinished pieces and Tirzah will help you get them done. We meet at the Riverdale Senior Center on Wednesday's from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The center also serves a great lunch for only $2.50.
Hope we see you soon and may God bless.
Gloria

Elections
2015 Chapter Service Project
It
is time to be thinking about the Chapter officers for 2016. If you
are willing to serve, please contact one of the Board member. We will
also be contacting the membership during the next 2 months. The
Chapter needs You,
so please give serious thought about serving as an officer for 2016.
The
Chapter will be voting on new officers in October.
This year the Chapter will be trying something different for our Community Service Project. Instead of bring food items (which we so often forget) for the Food Bank, we will have a donation box where people can drop in spare change or a dollar or two. You'd be surprised how quickly little bits can add up. There is a lot of need, so we hope everyone will support this effort.
