2023 October Newsletter

Hello ladies,

Terry taught the Autumn bucket in September. We had a good turnout and all the buckets looked really great.

The seminar with Michele is only a couple of weeks away.
Check the newletter for a list of paints and supplies. We will notify everyone when and where they can get their rooster.
The only prep work is sanding and sealing and more sanding. NOTE: Any remaning seminar balance must be paid when you pickup your rooster.

We are leaving our November paint-in open for those who need to finish their rooster. If you have completed it, you may bring any Unfinshed project you have to work on.
We have scheduled our Annual Christmas party. It will be Saturday December 9th at 3pm. More information to come so keep the date open.

Looking forward to seeing all of you at this long awated seminar.

Terry

2024 Elections

GSDP will vote on new officers this fall. We have not had elections since Covid and the current officers were appointed at the GSDP meeting in January and given the task of making the transition to an independent organization after National closed it's doors. That task is completed, and the appointed officers have taken us through the first half a year. If Golden Spike Decorative Painters is to continue, we need your help. Please consider running for the Board for 2024. All positions are open, President, 1st and 2nd Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, Newsletter editor, and Seminar/Paint-in coordinator. If you are willing to run, you may contact any Board member.

2024 Paint-ins and Seminars

The Board would like some input from our members about next year's Paint-ins and Seminars. What kind and style of projects would you like to paint? Who would you like as teachers? Would you willing to teach a class and if so, what would you teach? Please give this some serious thought. We are here for You. Contact any  Board member with your ideas.
