2024 GSDP Dues
Yearly
dues of $15 for GSDP should be paid in January. For those of you who
have not paid them, you NEED
to
do so by the end of the March in order to attend this year's
Paint-ins and Seminars. Checks can be made out to Golden Spike
Decorative Painters and mailed to GSDP care of Pat Reeder at 470 W
4900 S, Washington Terrace,
UT 84405.
A
big thank you to everyone who have already paid their dues.
Raffles
This
year we would like to ask our members to bring a NICE
raffle item or two. Painting supplies like palette paper, brushes,
and tracing paper are always welcome as are nice small or medium sized wood or metal
surfaces. Other items could include potted plants and painting books.
If you would like to receive it, it will probably make a good
raffle
item. If you have some gently used brushes, they would also be
welcome to have on hand for beginners.
Christmas Raffles
This year at our Christmas Party we will again be having a very special raffle. It is a beautiful box painted by Gayle Oram. Gayle is internationally recognized as a rosemaling painter and has been awarded a Gold Medal in Rosemaling from Vestereim. Her works are highly prized by all lovers of Norwegian Rosemaling and are today's and tomorrow's collectables.
Tickets will be on sale from now until the drawing at the party. The cost is $1.00 per ticket. You do NOT have to be present to win.
