 2023 April Newsletter

Happy Easter Everone,

As of March 11th Golden Spike Decorative Painters became an independent organization.  We had a great response from our membership, who unanimously approved the revisions to GSDP's revised Standing Rules and Bylaws. Thank you everyone who responded!!!

The March paint-in with Glenna Nielson teaching the Egg Meister's Plate was really fun and we thank her for coming up from Holladay to teach and everyone who attended.

The Bill Bayer seminar in April will take place, but without Bill. It will be a video class. This is something new for GSDP, but we know many of you have taken zoom and video classes before. We are hoping that many of you will join us in our plunge into the modern world of technology. We had a bit of a time getting things set up and the seminar is coming up soon, so if you are interested, please contact Tirzah (801-336-7900) ASAP to let her if you are coming so she will know how many to plan for.

Maxine Thomas will be teaching the paint-in in May. We will be painting the Roly-Poly Santa. I'm sure we will all enjoy it.   Note: the class is already full.

In June Pat will be teaching her really cute Dandy Lion.

Looking forward to seeing many of you at our paint-ins and seminars,

Terry
